- Stagecoach to hand out 1million Littlewoods discount vouchers
- Bus passengers offered £10 discount on www.littlewoods.com purchases
Stagecoach bus passengers are to benefit from a £10million promotion by retail giant Littlewoods on its online products.
Over the next three months, Stagecoach staff will hand out 1 million free vouchers to passengers, each one entitling customers to a £10 discount when shopping online at www.littlewoods.com.
The first leg of the promotion starts in Liverpool on Monday (25 May) when Stagecoach Merseyside staff will give away 100,000 discount vouchers within a week.
The vouchers will be handed out on a variety of Stagecoach routes on a first-come first-served basis and the offer is available to over 16s only on purchases of £10 or more (see full terms and conditions below). To claim their discount, all customers need to do is log on to www.littlewoods.com and enter the individual reference code from their voucher.
Following the Liverpool promotion, it is anticipated that the campaign will be rolled out to other parts of the north of England including Barnsley, Manchester, Newcastle, Chesterfield, Hull, Grimsby and Sheffield, where the offer will also be available to Sheffield Supertram customers*.

Not only do these vouchers entitle new customers to money-off our great high street brands, we are offering next day delivery, direct to their doorstep as well as the opportunity to take interest-free credit on purchases. By using Stagecoach buses and taking up our offer we can help customers make their money go further."
A recent Stagecoach study showed that travelling by bus can be up to 80% cheaper than commuting by car, saving households up to £3000 a year**.
Stagecoach also offers online access to monthly and annual bus tickets, allowing customers to receive even further discounts and fix the cost of their travel for up to 12 months in advance. Passengers can log on to www.buymymegarider.com to purchase travel on their local Stagecoach bus network.
The Littlewoods initiative is the latest in a string of innovative Stagecoach marketing campaigns which have contributed to increased passenger numbers on Stagecoach bus services across the UK for the past six years.
